if you are squeamish about the number 13 this pipe is not for you. i considered skipping this number but feel i was very lucky to acquire this burl on an amazing trip to southern italy. the trip included an exciting ride up a treacherous road to the briar cutter. the grain is simply amazing and the shape is a pleasure to hold. so the heck with superstition, this is double 13. handmade in my studio on the battenkill, fitted with a classic vulcanite mouthpiece and hand rubbed with hot italian oils.
